My voiceover award nomination featured in Egyptian newspapers

Last month, and on a calm night, my phone beeped as I received a new email.

It read:

Dear Voice Arts® Award Nominee!

That’s right! We’re thrilled to announce that you’ve been officially nominated for the prestigious Voice Arts® Award! This recognition is a testament to your incredible talent, hard work, and dedication to excellence in voice artistry.

I grinned from ear to ear, and I felt so happy to be recognized for the work I have done by such a highly regarded entity.

Applying for the SOVAS Voice Arts award, I submitted a promo voice over work I recorded for BBC News Arabic TV channel. It is one of the lovely campaigns I am proud I have worked on, and it is daily broadcast as the main promo on the channel.

I am also thrilled that multiple news websites in Egypt published news articles about my nomination for the promo category of the award.

The Egyptian Prestigious Arabic-speaking newspaper “Youm7” has published an article highlighting my nomination and the versatile voice over work I provide.

Egypt Today, a leading English-speaking news website, published an article about the nomination, talked about my pathway in VoiceOver, and my voice range.

I am happy to share with you this amazing step in my career. I consider this nomination a milestone in my journey.

SOVAS Arts Award is a prestigious global award in the voice over field. It is also akin to the famous Oscars Award.

All nominees look forward to following up on the announcement of the winners names in December. The names will be announced in a Gala set to be held in L.A.

I wish all the best for all the nominees. Stay tuned!
